Smulders donated 4 welding machines to local school

October 15th '19

Smulders works on state-of-the-art steel projects. And to do so, we require advanced and modern equipment.

That doesn’t mean that older welding equipment is no longer useful. We try to prolong the use of machinery that is still working because circular economy is very important. It is a factor Smulders includes in its business as much as possible.

From that point of view, 4 welding machines were recently donated to PT2O (praktisch Technoloigsch Onderwijs) school in Turnhout. Students will get the chance to acquire knowledge and develop skills by performing welding activities so they can become the next generation skilled welders the market needs.

We know the welding equipment will be in good hands and wish these students all of luck!
