First load-out completed of the Bałtyk 2 & 3 TPs in Vlissingen
At our yard in Vlissingen, the first load-out of the Bałtyk 2 & 3 transition pieces has successfully been completed. They are now on their way to their installation site in the Polish Baltic Sea.
In October 2025, we started storing the completed transition pieces at our yard in Vlissingen, the Netherlands. Without impacting other ongoing operational activities, Bałtyk 2 & 3 demonstrates our site’s ability to combine storage, load-out, and parallel project execution.
Together with Sif, we are responsible for the fabrication of 100 transition pieces for Equinor and Polenergia. Assembly works take place at our yard in Hoboken, where we also started finalising the 100th and final transition piece earlier this month.
The offshore construction campaign of the monopile foundations and the transition pieces will commence this spring. Thanks to the close cooperation and commitment of all teams involved, we were able to deliver the first transition pieces safely and on time.
While the load-out operations of the transition pieces progress, our project teams continue their efforts at our Vlissingen yard on building the two substation topsides for the Bałtyk 2 & 3 offshore wind farms.
