Smulders selected for EPC delivery of jacket foundation for the Dunkerque offshore substation
Smulders has been selected by Chantiers de l’Atlantique to execute the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the offshore substation jacket foundation for the 600 MW Dunkerque Offshore Wind Farm off the French coast, with RTE as the end‑client. Final assembly and delivery will take place at our French yard in Fos‑sur‑Mer, strengthening our local presence.
The jacket foundation will support the offshore substation. Our scope encompasses detailed engineering, procurement and construction, leveraging our proven track record in complex substation jackets across Europe.
Working alongside Chantiers de l’Atlantique as the main EPCI contractor and RTE as the end‑client, our teams will combine engineering excellence with robust project execution to ensure safe, high‑quality delivery. With final assembly and delivery planned at our Fos‑sur‑Mer facility, we are reinforcing our commitment to reliable offshore energy infrastructure and our growing footprint in France.
